In this half day session, you’ll learn how to turn humble winter veg into stunning, flavour-packed dishes that are perfect for cosy nights in or impressing guests around the table. The star of the class is a deep, savoury mushroom bourguignon—slow-simmered with red wine, herbs, and a medley of mushrooms to create layers of richness and umami depth. You’ll also be guided through a demonstration of creamy celeriac mash, the perfect pillowy base to soak up all that gorgeous sauce. To finish, indulge your sweet tooth with a hands-on bake: a spiced pear and chocolate upside-down cake. Think tender pears, warming spices, and gooey chocolate in every bite—delicious served warm with your favourite plant-based cream or custard. Expect hands-on cooking, thoughtful tips on seasonal vegetables, and a warm, welcoming atmosphere.
