About This Class
Let us take you on a trip around Thai cuisine! Thai food is very much a “taste based” cuisine. Also, knowing how sour, sweet, spicy, and salty you want your food, getting a feel for balancing out the flavours in each Thai dish, is another important part of cooking Thai. You can learn all of this and more on our One day Thai cooking course! Lesson can be adapted for vegetarian and vegan diets and for those who cannot consume gluten.. Please state if you are any of these when booking. Based on some of Jazzi’s favourite dishes, you will learn all about Thai flavours and discover delights such as… Gaeng Kheow Wan Gai -Thai Green Curry A fragrant creamy green chicken curry that will keep you wanting more. A perfect balance of salty, spicy, sweet, and sour, this aromatic Thai green curry is beautiful over jasmine rice Poh Pia Tod – Vegetable Spring Rolls Spring rolls are a common dish throughout Southeast Asia, especially in Vietnam and Thailand. We will be filling ours with stir fried veggies. Som Tam Thai – A spicy zingy salad Originally from the Northeast of Thailand, this Green Papaya salad captures the essence of Thailand, chilli hot, with garlic, fish sauce, and sour with lime juice. We will be using Cucumber to recreate this lip smacking (and tingling) dish. Tom Yam Goong – Hot and Sour Fish Soup One of the best-known Thai dishes, this tangy spicy prawn soup with lemongrass is hot, sour, fragrant and delicious.
