Did you know that Persian cuisine has the capability to satisfy any taste?! Even picky eaters? Persian cuisine is, above all, about balance — of tastes and flavors, textures and temperatures. In every meal, even on every plate, you’ll find both sweet and sour, soft and crunchy, cooked and raw, hot and cold. Persian foods are certainly unrivalled for their delicious, mouth-watering aromas. On this class we will make juicy flavour packed lamb kabob, Yoghurt and Saffron Tahdig , fresh parsley, cucumber and tomato salad and a creamy yoghurt dip. You will be making: • Kabob Koobideh (Grilled minced meat Kabob) •Yoghurt and Saffron Tahdig (Persian steamed rice with a crispy bottom ) •Cacik (Yogurt with cucumber garlic and dill) •Shirazi Salad (Fresh tomato and cucumber salad) Techniques learnt: • Knife skills •Pan Frying to get the most out of your meat •Seasoning •How to cook a Persian Tahdig with a crisp bottom •Learn about different Herbs and spices •Lots of cheffy tips and tricks UPCOMING CLASSES 2023 -Friday 10th February -Sunday 19th March -Friday 14th April -Wednesday 31st May -Wednesday 14th June -Sunday 16th July Everything that you prepare will be either eaten for lunch/dinner or can be taken home, so we recommend that you bring a cool bag if you are travelling far. We will provide eco friendly takeaway containers for you to pack your items into should you have anything to take home.
