About This Class

A tasty, hands-on class for young chefs who love bold flavours and crunchy bites! Kids will make their own Japanese-inspired chicken katsu burger from scratch. They'll learn how to coat chicken in seasoned breadcrumbs and cook it until golden and crispy. Then they'll whip up a mild katsu-style mayo and mix a fresh, crunchy Asian slaw to stack inside a soft bun for the ultimate homemade burger. Along the way, kids will build kitchen confidence, practise safe knife skills for shredding veg, and learn how to flavour sauces and season food. Fun, skill-building, and delicious—this class gives children a meal they’ll be proud to take home (if they don’t eat it first!).
