About This Class
This class is perfect for young chocolate enthusiasts eager to learn the art of baking and confectionery. This session will guide them through two exciting chocolate-based creations. They will begin by preparing a light and fluffy chocolate sponge, learning essential mixing and baking techniques. They’ll then spread a rich, creamy filling before carefully rolling it into the perfect Swiss roll. Next, we will explore the art of chocolate molding as they shape and decoratetheir very own chocolate coins. These sweet creations can be taken home to share or enjoy as a well-earned treat. Skills: • Mixing and baking chocolate sponge cake • Spreading and rolling a Swiss roll • Melting and molding chocolate • Decorating techniques • Kitchen safety and basic baking skills Details: • Duration: 2 hours • Skill Level: Beginner (no prior baking experience required) • Ages: 8-15 Dietary & Allergy Info: This class contains dairy. It is suitable for vegetarians but cannot be adapted for Vegans. Please inform us of any allergies at the time of booking. Information for Parents:This class is designed for children aged 8-15. Please state your child's age when booking. All participants must be able to reach and work at a standard kitchen surface height (900mm) without the use of a stool or other support.
