Whether you're a seasoned cook or a complete beginner, this immersive experience will guide you through the authentic preparation of Greece’s most beloved dish—gyros! You’ll learn to create tender, marinated meat or a delicious vegetarian alternative, perfectly seasoned and grilled to perfection. To complete your dish, you’ll make pillowy homemade pita bread from scratch and a creamy, tangy tzatziki sauce, bursting with fresh herbs and Mediterranean flavours. Dietary Info: This class can be adapted for vegetarians with advance notice. Not suitable for vegan or gluten-free diets. What You Will Be Making: • Marinated gyro meat or vegetarian alternative – Cooked to perfection with bold Greek spices • Homemade pita bread – Soft, warm, and perfect for wrapping your gyros • Tzatziki sauce – Creamy, tangy, and packed with fresh herbs Skills: • Marinating and seasoning for authentic gyro flavours • Grilling or roasting meats and vegetarian alternatives • Crafting homemade pita bread from scratch • Preparing tzatziki sauce and classic Greek accompaniments • Assembling and plating gyros for a restaurant-quality finish What You Will Take Home: Any additional portions of food prepared during the class will be taken home. We are actively trying to cut back on single-use containers, so please bring your own for any leftovers.
