In this hands-on masterclass, you’ll learn the secrets behind truly epic fried chicken — from breaking down a whole bird like a pro, to brining, dredging, and frying it to golden perfection. We’ll dive deep into technique as you master crisp coatings, juicy meat, and those all-important sauces — a spicy Korean fried chicken glaze and a cool, creamy ranch dip. Then we’ll bring it all together for lunch: crispy fried chicken tenders, crunchy slaw, and a side of oozy Mac & Cheese (cooked up in a live chef demo). It’s comfort food heaven, done the proper way. You'll be making: • Delicious Fried Chicken Tenders • Dry brines and wet brines • Korean Fried Chicken Glaze • Cool and creamy ranch dip Techniques learnt: •Chicken butchery and knife skills •The science of brining for flavour and tenderness •Dredging and coating for perfect crunch •Frying techniques for golden, crispy results •Balancing bold flavours in sauces Dietary Info: I am afraid this class cannot be adapted for Vegetarian, Vegan or Gluten Free diets at this time.
