95 British pounds

About This Class

Celebrate the exceptional seafood on our doorstep in this hands-on crab masterclass, featuring beautiful local Devon brown crabs. We’ll provide whole, pre-cooked crabs sourced right here from Devon’s waters — prized for their sweet white meat and rich, flavourful brown meat. You’ll roll up your sleeves and learn how to confidently pick a whole crab, separating the delicate white meat from the deeper, more robust brown meat, while making the most of every precious morsel. With expert guidance, you’ll discover the techniques for cracking, extracting, and dressing crab back into its shell — honouring the ingredient, reducing waste, and showcasing it beautifully. Once your crab is prepared, we’ll transform it into a bold and fragrant chilli garlic crab linguini. Sweet white crab meat is gently folded through silky pasta with fresh chilli, garlic, and bright lemon. To finish, we’ll scatter over golden lemon pangrattato — crisp, toasted breadcrumbs that add irresistible crunch and citrus lift. You’ll sit down to enjoy your freshly made linguini in class, savouring the sweetness of Devon crab at its best. Any remaining crab meat will be dressed and packed back into the shell for you to take home — perfect for salads, sandwiches, or simply enjoyed with crusty bread and a squeeze of lemon.
