About This Class

Warm, comforting and full of spice. In this class, you’ll learn how to make three Indian-inspired favourites from scratch. We’ll begin with dhal, gently simmering lentils with spices, aromatics, and tempered oil for a dish that’s wholesome and deeply satisfying. Next, you’ll make paratha—flaky, layered flatbreads that are perfect for scooping up every last bit of sauce. Finally, we’ll prepare spicy baked aubergine, roasted until soft and charred, then coated in a punchy spice mix that makes it the star of any table. By the end, you’ll sit down to enjoy a warming feast that’s as comforting as it is impressive—and you’ll leave ready to recreate it at home.
