Join our Croissants and Viennoiserie Masterclass and learn the secrets to creating the perfect sweet treats! Led by guest chef Rachel Pinnock, this class will take you on a journey through the art of making classic French pastries. We’ll start with mixing and kneading the dough, teaching you the proper techniques for rolling, folding, and creating those perfect, delicate layers through lamination. Under Rachel's expert guidance, you’ll make Classic Croissants, rich Pain Au Chocolat & Danish Pastries from scratch, mastering the art of shaping and baking these indulgent treats. Rachel will also demonstrate how to make the Brittany classic Kouign-amann, renowned for its indulgent buttery, caramel flavours. All ingredients and equipment are provided, so come ready with your passion for baking and love of sweet treats. Dietary Info: Contains gluten, dairy, and eggs. Not suitable for vegan or gluten-free diets. What You Will Be Making: • Yeasted dough for croissants, pain au chocolat and Danish pastries • Glazes and fillings for pastries Skills: • How to make and shape yeasted doughs • How to roll, fold, and laminate for perfect croissants • How to make crème pâtissière for pastry fillings What You Will Take Home: All your delicious pastries! Everything you make will be enjoyed during the class or taken home, so please bring your own containers to help reduce single-use packaging.
