Role: Trainee Chef Tutor
Hours: Full Time (Wednesday to Sunday)
Salary: £20k to £25k per year (subject to experience)
Role Details:
Calling all foodies! Are you a passionate and talented chef looking to share your skills and knowledge with others? We are seeking a trainee chef tutor to join our team at Devon Cookery School.
As a trainee chef tutor, you will be responsible for teaching a variety of cooking techniques and skills to our students, both in a classroom setting and in a hands-on kitchen environment.
You will work closely with our chefs to develop lesson plans and curricula, and you will have the opportunity to lead your own classes as you gain experience and confidence.
To be successful in this role, you should have a strong culinary background and a desire to inspire and mentor others. You should be able to work well under pressure, have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and be able to adapt to the needs of your students.

Responsibilities:
· Assisting lead instructors in planning and delivering lessons
· Demonstrating cooking techniques to students with confidence
· Assisting with the preparation and upkeep of the kitchen and equipment
· Supporting students in developing their cooking skills and gaining confidence in a kitchen
Requirements:
· Experience working in a professional kitchen (preferred but not essential)
· Strong passion for food and teaching
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
· Ability to work well in a team
· Willingness to learn and adapt to our teaching methods
· Must be able to work week days and weekends (our working days are weds-sun)
