About This Class

We are very aware that making your own pastry can be a terrifying concept. But after this course you will be creating perfect pastry again and again. There is nothing better than breaking into that crumbly pie crust or flaky puff pastry that makes a mess of your outfit! On this course you will learn to make 4 different types of pastry. Hot Water Crust, Shortcrust, Puff Pastry and Pate Sucre (sweet pastry) For your Lunch you will use your Shortcrust pastry for lunch! (Spring/ Summer- Pasties . Autumn/ Winter- Beef and Mushroom Pie) What you will be making: • Pork Pies • Shortcrust Pastry Pie or Pasty (You will have this for lunch) • Puff Pastry • Pate Sucre (You will make these into pastry cases to fill at home) Techniques Learnt: • Hot Water Crust Pastry • Puff Pastry • Shortcut Pastry • Sweet Pastry Everything that you prepare will be either eaten for lunch or will be taken home, so we recommend that you bring a cool bag if you are travelling far. We will provide eco friendly takeaway containers for you to pack your items into should you have anything to take home. Cancellation Policy

You may request to cancel your booking for a full refund up to 72 hours before the date and time of the class. Cancellations between 25-72 hours before the class may be rescheduled to a different date/time of the same class. Cancellation requests made within 24 hours of the class date/time may not receive a refund nor a transfer. When you register for a class, you agree to these terms.
