About This Class
Get into the festive spirit with our Christmas Bread Making Class, where you'll learn to bake warm, flavourful breads perfect for the holiday season. This hands-on class will fill your kitchen with the comforting aromas of herbs, spices, and festive ingredients, bringing a delightful twist to traditional bread baking. In this session, you’ll create: Cranberry and Walnut Granary Loaf: A hearty, festive loaf with the sweetness of cranberries and the crunch of walnuts, perfect for holiday gatherings or as a delicious gift. Garlic Herb and Mozzarella Tear and Share: A crowd-pleasing pull-apart bread with melted mozzarella, garlic, and herbs, ideal for sharing with family and friends. Walnut and Sage Pesto Plait: A beautiful braided loaf filled with fragrant sage and walnut pesto, adding a savoury and aromatic touch to any holiday spread. This class is ideal for anyone looking to add a homemade touch to their Christmas celebrations. You’ll leave with freshly baked bread and the skills to make these seasonal favourites year after year! What you will be making: • A mini granary loaf with walnut and cranberry • Creating a pleated loaf and a savoury pesto • Shaping white rolls and filling white rolls Techniques learnt • How to make different bread doughs • How to knead correctly • Baking temperatures and times • What to look for in a perfectly baked loaf Everything that you prepare will be either eaten for lunch or will be taken home. We are actively trying to cut back on single use containers as much as we can! Please help us by bringing takeaway boxes or bags for your bread to take home with you. - UPCOMING CLASS DATES 2024 - Thursday 12th December Thursday 19th December NOTE: If you are looking to book for more than one person but cannot change the 'Number of Participants' from 1, it means that there is only one space left on the class.
